Connection of Obesity and Vitamin D depletion

We hear lots of buzz about Vitamin D. Do you hear more and more about the negative health effects of low vitamin D levels in our body? As seasons change and we have less exposure to the sun, we have to be more conscious of supplementation of Vitamin D. It is very important to understand the sunshine vitamin has a big role in our all-round excellent health.

Some health conditions are known to be associated with obesity and lower levels of Vitamin D. In the past it was a question if obesity caused vitamin D deficiency or it is the other way around.

Walking the dog.

Let us see, if walking the dog is just a good physical exercise. Or there is some benefit to lower our BMI index (body mass index) to increase vitamin D level.

Who thought, walking the dog, strolling in the park in the sunshine has such importance to a balanced healthy body.
